Dog Moon Howl - 2012 - Strip-Lit Hell EP

Heavy shit outta Glasgow, UK
3 talanted dudes formed this band like a year ago.
Rocking is their business....Business is good.
It's like a 40-year-old aged solid whiskey. Rich bouquet. Nothing to add.

Craig Hughes is one of the members of Dog Moon Howl.
He's the man of blues. Take the direction for Seasick Steve, Left Lane Cruiser, Mississipi Alsstars...and you get to the place. Shame on me. I've discovered his lo-fi projects too late.

Chained - 2012 - Demo

We've posted their stuff in Januaty 2012.
So welcome back Nashville  punxters !

The Ocean Doesn't Want Me - 2012 - As the dust settles

"The Ozark Witch stems out of me trying to plug holes in my head. Unfortunately the plugs consist of noise, drone and found sounds.
The Ozark Witch was started in 2011 by Robin Mc Donald from Pretoria, South Africa with the sole purpose of filling in stop gabs between his other band's (The Ocean Doesn't Want Me) writing, gigging and recording.
The musical medium chosen falls within the ambit of noise, drone and the ambient genres. The conceptual medium chosen reflect nostalgia, solitude and isolation inspired by the work of Kerouac, Kafka, Vonnegut and Camus.
My current modus operandi is to release short free digital EP’s (consisting of between 2-4 songs) every 4/5 months."

Bone Dance - 2012 - self-titled

Another good record from one of my fave labels -  Throatruiner records !

Good dose of Brutality comes from the US.
Fans of Converge/Botch/Knut/Trap Them you know what to do with the links below.
Click and buy this fuckin' record !

“Bone Dance, a ritually charged and menacingly DIY band seeped in all things heavy, is rising from the South Idaho desert with their first self-titled LP for Melotov Records (USA), Throatruiner Records & Prototype Records (Europe). Bone Dance takes the grime and gravelly glut of the band’s previous work, the self-released Snakecharmers, and reevaluates not only its intensity, but also the band’s heritage: retooling the ferocity of hardcore, the technical acumen of extreme metal, and the minimal gauze of sludge and doom. This is the kind of tight, controlled, anvil-heavy music that only comes out of an area dominated by the Religious Right, the Conservative Coalition, and some of the most culturally repressive mechanisms in America. Bone Dance acts as a document of this inheritance by time and place and on principle rejects all of it. As a combatant to the moderate veneer that glosses even the counterculture in their hometown of Boise, Bone Dance have crafted not a shield but a weapon against the repressive devices they so clearly detest. By deconstructing typical sludge breakdowns, by retooling blast beats into searing grooves, by inverting a biblical poetic into a sinister manifest of their body politic, Bone Dance forges a musical dialogue exemplifying the clash typical of the liberal-conservative head butting seen throughout misleading media; however, the band seems to reject even mainstream leftist views in favor of an utter desert-driven nihilism. Bone Dance proves yet again that the frontier isn’t innovation—the frontier is misery.”

Throw The Goat - 2012 - Black Mountain

"Throw The Goat - a heavy rock/punk/metal band from the mountains of Idyllwild, California. We would really like it if you'd check us out... you might dig our story. We're from a small town (population 3874) in the middle of nowhere, there's no scene for us where we live so we hustle our asses off playing dive bars to legendary venues around southern California and even toured down to Costa Rica last February. We've opened for Prong, Death By Stereo, D.I., Fireball Ministry and many others. We do this 100% on our own, completely independent. Our debut album Black Mountain, which we're releasing ourselves in a few weeks"
